In France, fear of the aviary influenza: a fall of the poultry consumption from 20 to 30% in only 15 days, and prospect, a new crisis concerning the avicolous die.

For the moment, no case of aviary influenza, neither animal nor human, was detected in France.

The analyses revealed that the three Réunionais, incomes of a voyage in Thailand and presenting grippaux symptoms were not finally carrying virus H5N1 of the aviary influenza.

No trace either of the virus on the eleven died found starlings with Mâcon (Saone-et-Loire).
On the other hand, the containment of the poultry breedings was extended to five additional departments: the Aude, the Eure, Herault, Loiret and Morbihan according to recommendations' of the AFSSA.
